For job seekers

A recruiter who calls you back.

Kalspark places IT professionals in contract, contract-to-hire, and permanent roles across the United States. Send your resume and we'll tell you honestly whether we can help.

What we offer candidates

How we'd want to be treated.

Straight information about the role.

Client, scope, team, duration, rate or salary range, and whether it's onsite, hybrid, or remote — before you interview, not after. If we don't know something yet, we'll say we don't know.

Your resume goes where you approve it.

We don't submit you anywhere without your explicit go-ahead for that specific client. No blind submissions, no duplicate submissions to a client another agency already sent you to.

W2 employment with benefits available.

Contract consultants are employed on Kalspark's W2 with benefits eligibility, payroll we administer directly, and workers' compensation coverage. We also support 1099 and corp-to-corp arrangements where the engagement permits.

Feedback, including the bad kind.

If a client passes, we tell you and we tell you why when we're given a reason. Silence isn't a status update.

A relationship past the first placement.

Contracts end. When yours is winding down, we start working on what's next before your last day rather than after it.

The placement process

What happens after you hit send.

01You send your resume

Email it to hr@kalspark.com.

Include the kind of role you want, your location and remote preference, your rate or salary expectation, your work authorization status, and when you're available.

02We talk

A real conversation, not a screening script.

A recruiter reaches out to discuss your experience, what you're actually looking for, and what you'd rather not do again. This is also where we tell you plainly whether we have relevant work — if we don't, we'll say so and keep you in mind.

03We present you

With your approval, every time.

When a role fits, we walk you through it in full. You approve the submission before your resume goes anywhere. We prepare you for the client's specific interview process.

04Interview & feedback

We schedule, prep, and follow up.

You'll hear the outcome of each round from us.

05Offer & onboarding

We negotiate on your behalf and handle the paperwork.

We present the offer, then take care of employment paperwork, background screening, and first-day logistics. Then we stay in touch through the engagement.

How to submit your resume

Email hr@kalspark.com

Attach your resume as a PDF or Word document. We review every submission — if your background matches work we're recruiting for, a recruiter will reach out.

FAQ

Questions candidates ask us.

Does it cost me anything to work with Kalspark?

No. Candidates never pay Kalspark a fee. Our fees are paid by the client company that hires you.

What's the difference between W2, 1099, and C2C?

On W2, Kalspark employs you: we withhold taxes, provide benefits eligibility, and carry workers' compensation. On 1099, you work as an independent contractor and handle your own taxes and insurance. On corp-to-corp (C2C), we contract with your own incorporated company or your employer, and that entity pays you. Which options are available depends on the specific engagement and your work authorization — we'll tell you what applies to each role.

Do you work with candidates who need visa sponsorship?

We work with US citizens, permanent residents, and candidates holding valid work authorization. Sponsorship availability depends on the specific role and client requirements, so ask us about the engagement you're considering and we'll give you a direct answer.

Will you submit my resume without telling me?

No. We ask for your approval before submitting you to any client, every time. This protects you from duplicate submissions, which can disqualify you from a role entirely.

What happens when my contract ends?

We start looking for your next engagement before the current one wraps up. Extension and conversion to the client's payroll are both common outcomes too — we'll raise those conversations with the client on your behalf when you want us to.

I don't see a role that fits. Should I still send my resume?

Yes. Open requirements change constantly and most of what we work on is filled from consultants we already know. Send it to hr@kalspark.com and tell us what you're looking for.
