Kalspark Inc is an IT staffing and recruiting firm headquartered in Plano, Texas. We place technology professionals with US employers on contract, contract-to-hire, and direct-hire terms, and we assemble multi-role project teams when the requirement is bigger than one person.
The name is deliberate. Kal is the steady part — the intake discipline, the screening, the payroll that runs on time, the compliance nobody notices until it fails. Spark is the moment it's all for: the right person meeting the right opportunity. Most of our work is the first part, in service of the second.
We're not trying to be the largest staffing firm anyone works with. We're trying to be the one where the shortlist is short, the notes are honest, and the recruiter picks up the phone.
Four things we hold ourselves to.
Say the true thing.
If the rate is below market, if the candidate has a gap, if we can't fill the role — we say it early. Bad news delivered on day two is useful. On day thirty it's a wasted month.
Screen hard, submit few.
A short slate respects a hiring manager's calendar and a candidate's time. We'd rather do more work before the submission than apologize for volume after it.
Own the details.
Payroll, I-9 and E-Verify, background screening, timesheets, invoicing, onboarding. It isn't glamorous work, and it's exactly the work a client hires a staffing partner to stop thinking about.
Treat candidates like clients.
The consultant on assignment today is the person we want to place again in two years. That only works if we're straight with them now.
